I’m not just your real estate agent. I’m your real estate advisor.
I live in North County San Diego, and I represent home sellers and home buyers all over San Diego County, including people relocating to the area, first-time home buyers, owners of distressed properties, investors, and anyone interested in residential green building.
I have earned the nationally-recognized Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification from the National Association of REALTORS®. I help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales, and I help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities. It’s important to hire a REALTOR® who knows how to qualify sellers for short sales, negotiate with lenders, protect buyers, and limit risk.
I am a recipient of the GREEN Designation from the National Association of REALTORS®. As a member of the Residential Green Building Committee of the San Diego Green Building Council, I learn about new standards and innovative designs. There are many reasons to choose a green home:
- Green homes use less energy and are less expensive to operate, and more home buyers prefer green homes to conventional homes.
- Green homes can be healthier: non-toxic construction materials and advanced ventilation and air filtration systems help control indoor air quality.
- Green homes are often more comfortable, because they maintain temperature more consistently.
I am also an active member of the the Green Resource Council, Build it Green, the California Chaparral Institute, Tree San Diego, the Sierra Club, and the California Native Plant Society.
I enjoy volunteering my time with a number of organizations, including the San Diego Green Building Council’s Residential Green Building Committee, the City of Carlsbad, local native habitat restoration projects, the San Diego County Registrar of Voters, and the Chopra Center for Well-Being. I am a Volunteer Tree Steward with Tree San Diego.
I donate 10% of my net commissions to local San Diego charity The Meditation Initiative, which offers free meditation classes for the community, including Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Prisons, Senior Centers, Homeless Shelters, United States Military, Wounded Warriors, At-Risk Youth, and Group Homes for Victims of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking. (Check out The Meditation Initiative Mission Page.) Read more about my involvement with The Meditation Initiative.
